Bunny, Fluffy Bunny

Katie has "retired" her original pink Easter bunny in favor of her new bunny, pink but matching Amanda's purple bunny. "Old Bunny" was a very faithful friend for a very long long and has now gone to rest. "New Bunny" is learning the ropes well, but is not quite the same "bosom buddy". Part of growing up, and our grown up girl is doing that so well!

Happy Easter

We had a fantastic Easter. The weather cooperated just in time. Katie loved the Easter egg hunt, almost up to the third dozen hidden eggs! She has grown so much from last year and enjoys all the festivities more and more. Seeing Amanda in Katie's previous Easter dress just takes me back. It's only been two years since Katie wore it but Oh, so much has changed. Katie is no longer a baby but such a big girl that can do so much and is a sweetheart! Amanda loves the ribbons and loves her new purple bunny.

CARS!

Katie's new passion seems to be cars. She has 8-9 various cars that she pushes all around the house. They all follow each other in caravan style. She moves the front car about a foot ahead, and they all follow in turn. There are some matchbox cars, Little People cars, Sesame Street cars, souviner NY taxi cars, classic cars, school bus, etc. She narrates them too. "Grandpa Greer gets in this side, and Grandma Greer gets in here. They're going to the store," she explains.

Cousins

We had a fun outing to the Living Planet Aquarium last week with Charlotte and Levi.
It was a lot of fun! They've made some fun upgrades. Thanks for inviting us!

With the temperature going up and down on an almost daily basis (Aaah, Springtime in Utah!), Katie and Mandy both have had occasional sniffles. Both girls were sneezing through breakfast this morning. Of course, each time they sneeze, they get a "Bless You!" Katie loves to "bless" Mandy and if I don't give Katie a "Bless You" after her sneezes, she will often say "Bless Me". After the third or fourth sneeze by Katie, she exclaimed, "Wow, I'm getting a lot of blessings today!" Yes, my dear, how right you are!!

Follow the Prophet

Katie learned the song "Follow the Prophet" when we talked about Adam and Eve and the creation. She's been humming it and singing it since yesterday as we've been talking more about prophets with General Conference. I tuned in and realized today she's been singing "Follow the Prophet, Follow the Prophet, Follow the Prophet, Don't Go a-Strange." It's true--from my perspective, if you don't follow the prophet, you can go pretty strange!!

Coupon clipper

So, I'm a coupon clipper as many of you know. I get a bit of a thrill when I find a major sale and I have coupons to make it a steal of a deal. This week, I got Kellogg's cereal for about $.75 a box.
