Tuacahn

The October cold snap followed us south! We got rained on and it was very cold for the girls first trip to Tuacahn. They liked it anyway! Especially when Dad went and bought them warm churros and nuts! See how he works?
We went back the next (sunny) day for pictures. We only got there by the skin of our teeth after Katie's early out day and a quick drive south. (Which is the reason we finally found for loving being at the south end of the Wasatch Front!)

See how much we like the sun we finally got? :)

We hope to go again next year to see The Little Mermaid!

Philly Phun!

We're back, and I'm ready to GO BACK! By the end of any vacation, I'm itching to get home. About 48 hours after getting home, I'm ready to go back. We had a lot of fun. Oh, and Brett enjoyed the competition too! We definitely could have used some more time (we saw less than half of Gettysburg and did not dally through any of it!) but we saw so many incredible things. I guess we're a bit of history buffs when it comes to vacations and Philadelphia sure is full of History!
Many thanks to the babysitters!

You What?

So, without so much as even TELLING his wife, Brett entered a Transactional Lawyering competition. And, he WON! (Well, let's be honest, what else would he do?) So, as my grand prize for sitting at home and wondering where he was until 11 pm with no phone call or email or "I'm still alive". . . . (yes, we've only been married 6 years and he still doesn't know that he has a wife at home that worries about him). . . . . .I get to tag along with Brett to the National Competition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Yep, I'm going to Philly next month! Am I excited? Well, I talked Brett into staying an extra day and half to see some sights--so YES! I am. Better still? We are going childless! Not that I don't love my girls, because I really do, but this will be the longest that Brett and I have done anything together, just the two of us since Katie was born! I feel lighthearted and free already! Anyway, I'm excited. Just to let you know!
