Over Memorial Day Weekend, Grandpa and Grandma Greer took us fishing at Deer Creek Reservoir. With some help and coaching from Grandpa Greer and Dad, Katie caught her first fish!! It didn't take long before a beautiful rainbow trout came reeling in to meet Katie. Just so the "tale" doesn't grow with time, it was 14 inches long. Amanda hated the life vest but loved being rocked to sleep in the boat!

Looks like fun. Can't believe that Amanda is getting so big.
Looks like it was a lot of fun. It always does my heart good to see the little ones out there fishing :) The great thing is this, if you take a child fishing they will always catch one, even if the adults don't even get a bite.
Hopefully they both learn to love going fishing!
